As a photographer. Convenience, portability and price are always a concern. Up until the day I found out about Innovatronix. My last power pack which costed me well over $1200 was too expensive and a real pain to have repaired or replaced.

TRONIX EXPLORER XT: with new & updated product information

Following the success of the Explorer 1200, Innovatronix Inc is proud to announce its new product the Explorer XT.

Product Features:

The technically superior Explorer XT, rated at 350 watts** continuous power, 1200watts peak power and recommended up to 2400ws, is designed as a portable power source for most flash and power pack units. Just like the Explorer 1200, the Explorer XT makes your studio lights mobile and portable. With the new Explorer XT, it reduces recycling time for flash units over half, providing more power and better performance compared to the previous model. (**Now increased at 350watts)

Equipped with two (2) 12V, 7Ah sealed lead acid batteries, the Explorer XT is designed to be a better and more reliable portable power supply solution. With loads of up to 2400ws which the Explorer XT can manageably handle, the Explorer XT is a total improvement from the Explorer 1200! More digital flash/power packs are expected to be compatible due to its increased power rating.

A pioneer in plug and play portable power solution - it has an auto volt-charging feature which accepts 100-240V. It also has a 14V car battery charging where an internal circuit converts the 12V/14V source to a 24V. It also has an auxiliary battery port, allowing the user to connect another battery in case the stored power is not sufficient for an all-day photo shoot. Battery power level indicators with beeper and charging indicators come in handy to monitor the user's power consumption and charging status making the Explorer XT a very user-friendly power supply.

The Auxiliary Battery Pack is now available as an optional back up power. It is an external battery pack powered by a two (2) 12V, 12Ah SLA batteries (compared to two (2) 12V, 7Ah internal/built in batteries), giving more power for longer photo shoots. Product Performance: Recycle Times and Battery Life

The Tronix Explorer XT is a device which produces a clean 115Vac or 230Vac from a 24V battery from a fully engineered circuit. It is recommended for most flash units up to 2400Ws.

Note: Flash recycling is a function of three (3) factors: (1) the state of battery charge; (2) the electronics design of the flash itself; (3) the maximum power output of the inverter;

**The specifications stated herein are based on worst case scenarios. Most strobes that are tested when the battery is fully charged.
