as your guide.

Differences
in Compatibility:
1. Tronix Explorer XT compatibility is much larger than
Explorer 1200. Due to Explorer XT's increased power
rating, several flash units and power packs that
were not compatible with the Explorer 1200 is now
compatible with the Explorer XT.
2.
This chart will be
updated continuously showing all models under Tronix
Explorer product line.
3.
For Elinchrom BXri 500 (Hensel Pro Plus and Profoto
Compacts), refer Tronix Explorer XT SE (see related info).
If your bi-voltage monoblock/strobe is not listed
below, it is COMPATIBLE with the
Explorer XT SE.

Notes
for Compatibility Chart:

Tests are conducted with one monoblock/power pack/flash
unit per
unit of Explorer 1200/Explorer XT/Explorer XT SE,
tested up to full power.
III.
If your brand or model is not listed, check its
power ratio control. This control is usually located
either at the back or side panel of your flash unit.
- To check if
it is compatible:
If
the power ratio control (power ratio variator) is a
rotary or a slide switch, it is compatible with the
Explorer. It is also compatible when the flash unit
has no or basic (1/4, ½, 1) power ratio control.
- To check if
it is not compatible:
If
the output control (power ratio variator) is digital
and has a digital read-out, the Explorer may or may
not work with your flash.
IV.
Dynalite/Speedotron Power Pack - *** - There have been conflicting customer reports on
these models, there have been customers who says it
is compatible while there are also customers who say
otherwise. In this regard, to ensure customer
satisfaction, these models are not recommended for
Explorer 1200/ Explorer XT and Explorer XT SE.
